Rockstar Pets: Where scales, feathers and fur ROCK!

When we say Zac loves animals, we mean...ALL animals. We took him to Rockstar Pets in grand ole' Tooele, Utah and actually had a good time, although you come out of their smelling like a swamp. The animals were all very lively, even the snakes. They were crawling up the walls, sticking their tounges out at us, and even hissing! Frogs were climbing up their walls and sticking up to the top. The poor lizzard was trying to climb up too, but had no luck. The rats all stood up on an upside-down bowl to see Zac. They stood on their hind legs and weren't very stable, a bit wobbly...they appeared to be the Three Blind Mice. Since I had my camera in my purse, I got it out and started flashing away! The workers were really friendly and actually liked that I was aking "interest" in their pets.

Zac went to the battery drawer in the kitchen and started licking each kind to find the one that would produce an electric shock to his tounge. He found it!

Ole' Aunt Lynn had a farm, E-I-E-I-O!

Chickens, Ducks and Roosters...Oh My!

I took Addy, Gracie, and Zac to go see the baby chicks and ducks Aunt Lynn bought down at C-A-L Ranch so she can have some good eats with their eggs! The girls had seen them already, but it was Zac's first time down there. He loves animals. He wants to hold them and pet them and kiss them! Nasty... He was pretty good with the ducks and chicks though, he didn't chase them but once. Perhaps because Aunt Lynn put her foot down on remaining calm and sitting still on the stone steps she has out in her backyard? :) She let him hold the little rooster, but made sure to put a paper towel on his lap first incase it pooped on Zac! I thought that was funny...he was already dirty. They also had fun lurking around the chicken coop/house.

My First Blog Ever

My mother-in-law says so subtly, "I wish you had a blog." I can take a hint very clearly, so I got up from the dinner table and immediately signed on to blogspot. So here we are playing around and trying to figure out this blogging system since EVERYONE does it. I tried as long as I could to not get involved in blogging, but I never was one for ignoring peer pressure.
